Discover The Perfect Pairings

Ktima Biblia Chora Red complements a variety of dishes, including red and barbecued meats, hearty oven roasts, cold deli cuts, and soft cheeses.  At màna, we suggest pairing it with our Wood-Fire Lamb Chops (pictured below). Serving it at 18°C (64°F) will enhance its infamous flavors.

A Journey to Greece’s Pangeon Mountains

Nestled on the slopes of the Pangeon Mountain range in Kokkinochori, Kavala, Ktima Biblia Chora is the brainchild of esteemed winemakers Vangelis Gerovassiliou and Vassilis Tsaktsarlis. Established in 1998, the estate boasts a state-of-the-art winery surrounded by 65 hectares of organic vineyards.

The Art of the Blend

The Ktima Biblia Chora Red is a masterful blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with a touch of Agiorgitiko. This combination undergoes traditional red vinification, followed by 12 months of maturation in French oak barrels. The result is a deep purple to blackish-red wine that captivates both the eye and the palate.

A Symphony of Aromas and Flavors

On the nose, this wine offers enticing aromas of ripe red fruits, blackcurrant, and sweet chocolate, intertwined with hints of vanilla, cedar, and spice. The palate is expansive, featuring velvety tannins that provide a persistent finish and excellent aging potential.

A Toast to February

This February, embrace the warmth and richness of Ktima Biblia Chora Red. Whether you’re a seasoned oenophile or new to Greek wines, this blend promises a delightful experience. Pair it with your favorite dishes or enjoy it on its own during màna’s half-price wine nights. Cheers to discovering new favorites and savoring the moments that make winter wonderful!
